Berlin Wall Bus Tour Stops - East Side Gallery & More

You can't visit Berlin without understanding the Wall. The Green or Purple routes of most bus companies specifically cover the Wall memorial sites.

Stop 1: Checkpoint Charlie

The most famous crossing point. Hop off here to visit the Mauermuseum.

Stop 2: East Side Gallery

The longest remaining stretch of the wall, now an open-air gallery.

• Photo Op: The "Fraternal Kiss" mural.

Stop 3: Bernauer Straße Memorial

Often on the "extended" or "red" route. This is where the reality of the division is most palpable, with preserved death strips. (Look how it changed!)

Insider Note: The "Classic" routes sometimes miss the East Side Gallery. Make sure your ticket includes the route that goes east to Friedrichshain!
